What We Do
We are a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit Indiana Corporation so all materials and dollars are tax-deductible. We use the Bible’s finance plan, so we make no profit and charge no interest to our homeowners. Every dollar donated to the Fuller Center for Housing of Central Indiana goes entirely to help a family. We have no paid staff, no paid executive director, and we do not pay for office or warehouse space.

Joyce Vogt
Board Member
Joyce began building homes alongside her husband, Chuck, 36 years ago during a Jimmy Carter Habitat Build in 1987, and this experience sparked a lifelong commitment to housing initiatives. They built homes in various states every year, including mission trips to Mexico and Honduras. Their friendship with Millard and Linda Fuller led to a pivotal moment when Chuck was asked by Millard to launch a Fuller Center chapter in Indianapolis, and Joyce was instrumental in supporting this new mission by handling computer work. Her dedication led to her becoming a board member.
Having spent over 30 years as a Director of Technology, Joyce finds immense joy in working with others to help families escape poverty housing and secure homes of their own each summer. Joyce, originally from Indianapolis and a Butler Bulldog, enjoys gardening, teaching bible study classes, and playing the piano and organ. However, her favorite task during the annual build is painting woodwork and doors. She's discovered that the more homes you help build, the more you find your favorite task. Joyce sees this opportunity to serve others as a tremendous blessing from God.
